“I'm so grateful to the staff and volunteers of Acord for greeting me with a smile and a kind word when I walk through the door. Their kindness is especially touching because I don't receive that everywhere I go. I'm thankful for the food I receive from Acord, but I am also grateful that when I go, I know I will be treated with dignity.”
